Elite Abilities

Elite warriors and Antagonists are meant to feel more dangerous than their Normal counterparts. GMs are encouraged to give them custom abilities like the examples written below in order to achieve this effect.

Necrotize Ranged 1 AP, 3 MP The warrior uses a sleight that, on a hit, inflicts the Necrotized status, which means that all direct healing done to the target is instead taken as damage.
Puppeteer Ranged 1 AP, 5 MP The warrior uses a sleight that, on a hit, lets them force the target to take a 1 AP action of their choice.
Drain Life Melee 2 AP, 3 MP The warrior makes a strike that, on a hit, deals colorless damage and heals them for the same amount of damage dealt.
Damage Mana Ranged 1 AP, 5 MP The warrior uses a spell that, on a hit, deals colorless damage to the target’s MP rather than their HP.
Push/Pull Multi 2 AP, 5 MP The warrior uses a sleight that, on a hit, causes every target in one of the two rows of the battlefield to move to the other.
Double Strike Melee 1 AP The warrior makes two basic attacks against a single target.
Drain AP Melee 1 AP The warrior makes a strike that reduces the AP of the target by 1 on a hit.
Sting Melee 1 AP, 3 MP The warrior makes a basic attack that also inflicts a status on the target of some kind.
Bargain Special 1 AP, 10 MP The warrior selects a target. They offer to grant them a boon, such as a charm, right now in exchange for a cost that will be paid in 1d4 rounds in the warrior has not been downed.
Consume the Dead Special Passive During the Effect Phase, the warrior can inflict True Death on a downed ally in exchange for a significant benefit, such as healing to full HP or MP.
